(Port) Wine of the month December 2019: Ramos Pinto Porto Branco 1884

Ramos Pinto’s Chief enologist packed two bottles of this fantastic old white Port as the perfect surprise after this year’s Masterclass at the Portfare in Leverkusen: Intense green reflexes in the golden-black color with a deep core. Fantastic Cognac- and Amaretto-flavors in the complex, but balanced nose with honey in the back. Perfectly supporting acidity on the palate and a perfect mix of honey, coffee, nuts and marzipan. Unbelievably long aftertaste. 19/20
